Legendary Pakistani cricketer Younus Khan is supporting the World Water Day 2014 campaign led by EWP member Integrated Regional Support Program (IRSP) in Pakistan.
Khan, who captained his country to victory in the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and is only the third Pakistani to score 300 or more in an innings, visited the office of IRSP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa last week.
Younus Khan in his approved demands that;
- Sanitation and Water budget may be increased
- Separate budget heads for Sanitation and Water
- Access to safe Sanitation and Water may be given priority
- Safe and adequate Sanitation and Water may be provided in Schools
