Project Outcomes

  • Target farming households provided with necessary inputs and support for the restoration of their on-farm livelihoods
  • Target households provided with skills training, trade-specific toolkits and small grants for the revival of their non-farm livelihoods
  • Damaged essential physical infrastructure restored through the active participation of local target communities.

Project Outputs

The following are the headline amounts of the key outputs/services delivered:

  • 2,700 resource poor farming families provided with vegetable gardening inputs
  • 2,200 poor/vulnerable families provided with poultry package (6 birds/family)
  • 464 poor families provided with cow package (1 cow/family)
  • 18,041 animals vaccinated & de-wormed
  • Skill training, cash for training & toolkits provided to 1,200 persons
  • 300 trained artisans provided with technical toolkits
  • 303 damaged/affected small businesses restored through enterprise grants
  • 49 community-based physical infrastructure schemes repaired/reconstructed

  • Carry out beneficiary selection and market survey
  • Provide input support (seeds and bio-fertilizer) for kitchen/vegetables gardening
  • Distribute improved breeds of poultry
  • Distribute improved breeds of cow
  • Arrangement of livestock field days for vaccination/de-worming
  • Provision of vocational/ employable skills development trainings, technical trade-specific toolkits and cash for training.
