<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Environmental Specialist<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gender:<\/strong> No preferences<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> One position for Shikarpur and One for\nKamber Shuhdad Kot <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Lead and provide day-to-day guidance\nand advice on environment safeguard compliance issues for the IRSP and\nresolution of environment safeguard compliance issues in planning documents, in\nconsultation with the IRSP management and SSSP.<\/li><li>Lead in identifying and resolving\nenvironmental issues, particularly compliance risks for complex\/sensitive\nprojects and categorizing community level projects.<\/li><li>Lead in advising IRSP and SSSP on the\nimprovement of environment policies and practices in project implementation.<\/li><li>Ensure environmental assessment of\nWASH facilities in schools and communities <\/li><li>Prepare the Environment and Social Management\nPlan (ESMP) for each WASH facility<\/li><li>Make assessment of water supply&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; and&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; sewerage\ninfrastructure and prioritize and recommend the requirements in villages for providing\/rehabilitating\nsmall scale water supply and sewerage infrastructure schemes.<\/li><li>Follow all the guidelines and\nprovisions stated in Operations Manual, Specification and Environment and\nSocial Management Framework (ESMF) and the World Bank\u2019s relevant policies for\ncoverage and performance and will apply guidelines and standards as recommended<\/li><li>In supervising their role they would ensure adherence to\nEnvironmental, Health, Safety and Social Code of Conduct<\/li><li>Lead and monitor environment safeguard\npolicy compliance of projects during implementation and review implementation\nissues, undertaking activities such as conduction review missions, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Education &amp; Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The potential candidate must have\nmaster degree in environmental sciences or Bachelor Degree environmental\nengineering or equivalent <\/li><li>At least 5 years\u2019 experience on\nsimilar role especially in water &amp; sanitation projects <\/li><li>Excellent written &amp; communication\nskills in English <\/li><li>Excellent IT Skills <\/li><li><strong>A candidate from Sindh and targeted districts\nwith same qualification and experience will be preferred. <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Communication\nand Behavior Change Expert <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gender:<\/strong> No preferences<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> One position for Shikarpur and One for\nKamber Shuhdad Kot <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>TO oversee all aspects of BCC element\nand delivery in line with objectives, budgets, timelines and standards of the\nproject.<\/li><li>Undertake background research for\nevidence based BCC programming <\/li><li>Design and develop BCC plans,\nmaterials and products with appropriate branding and compliance with respective\ninstitutional regulations and guidelines.<\/li><li>Conduct BCC Training for staff and\nAmbassadors of Change and oversight to replication of trainings at district\nlevels as well as regular technical guidance and support for smooth implementation\nof the project.<\/li><li>Ensure that monitoring system tools,\nchecklists, indicators, reporting formats are in place to track immediate\nresults\/outputs and impact\/outcomes against planned initiatives.<\/li><li>Ensure BCC plan for Open Defecation\nFree Villages Sustainability <\/li><li>Undertake field visits to oversee implementation\nand provide on-site feedback for required improvements, and generate field\nvisit reports with timely and appropriate follow up on action points.<\/li><li>Conduct periodic project reviews and\nprepare project reports for management and outside as and when required.<\/li><li>Lead the advocacy and influencing\ncomponent of the project using field evidence as well as coordination and\nrepresentation of IRSP at different forums and platforms.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Education and Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Masters degree in Social and Behavioral\nSciences or Public Health.<\/li><li>Five year experience of managing a BCC\nintervention in NGO including minimum 3 years \u201chands on\u201d direct implementation\nat grassroots level.<\/li><li>Excellent project management skills<\/li><li>Experience of delivering community\nbased BCC projects related to water supply, sanitation and hygiene.<\/li><li>Sensitive to culture, gender issues,\nequity and accessibility issues.<\/li><li>Good understanding of WASH sector,\nSLTS and CLTS, rights-based community development, engagement with public duty\nbearers, social mobilization and empowering approaches of long-term development\nprogramming<\/li><li>Excellent written &amp;
