Mehzar Abass local resident of the village Jamali Kalan qualified dispenser recently retired from Pakistan Army and joined the village organization (VO) Jamali Kalan which consists of 280 household established in February 17, 2016. Since participation in various project activities and 3-tier mobilization approach for rural development was an innovative approach for him and he realized the importance of community development approach with local participation and institutional change which he never seen before in his life and this approach with greater effects change his life and voluntarily offered his services for community development. later on in community meetings the local people raised the problem related to non availability of health facilities at their village, the participants were asked what are they needed and what are they mean by health facilities. Some of the participants respond that a sub health center a well structure building at village level is required; some of them were on the opinion for medicine and first aid emergency base treatment. The meeting was concluded with the genuine need prioritized for health services with minimal structure.
Healths centre a structure building arrangements were assigned to Village organization. Through resource mobilization from local philanthropist and influential PKR 50,000 fund raising campaign was completed and arranged/provided two room from local influential, 4 chairs, 1 table and 1 full rack/cupboards for health centre, members from village organization Mr.Mazhar Abbas as male health dispenser and Ms.Sadaf female LHV offered their services on voluntary basis from morning till evening. Fund raising through OPD Rs 20 per patient should be charged and should be utilized for other necessary arrangements and medicine.
